*MICHIGAN ONLY. If your divorce has not been finalized and there are attorneys of record on the case, the DRO will be drafted to include the attorneys. If a final judgment has been entered, attorneys will be included on the draft DRO until the expiration of 21 days following entry of the final judgment, unless the party/parties request otherwise and attorney contact information is provided. After 21 days, the DRO will be drafted with only the parties’ names on the caption and signature page and an additional, non-refundable fee of $300 will be assessed for The QDRO Company Staff Attorney who assists the QDRO Consultant with legal conformity and court entry.

 

FOR NON-MICHIGAN matters, you must have secured legal counsel in your state to assist you with the DRO.

**An equalization calculation is applicable if the parties have agreed to equalize various retirement accounts against one another for the purpose of using one QDRO to divide the retirement assets.  The fee is charged when The QDRO Company is not provided with the equalization value and has to calculate the number.
